Terms of use
Before publishing: have these terms reviewed by your counsel, and fill in the registered address and the governing jurisdiction in sections 12 and 13. They are written to be accurate about how the product works, not as a substitute for legal advice.
These terms govern your use of the Felicet Partner and Felicet Business apps and the Felicet platform, operated by Felicet Technologies Private Limited ("Felicet"). By creating an account you agree to them.
1. Who can use Felicet
You must be at least 18 years old and legally able to work or to operate a business in India. A Felicet Business account may only be created by someone authorised to act for that business.
2. Your account
Accounts are created and secured with your mobile number and a one-time password. Keep access to that number secure — anything done through your account is treated as done by you. Tell us immediately if you lose control of the number or suspect unauthorised use.
You must give accurate information during onboarding and KYC. Accounts created with false identity documents, or shared between people, may be suspended.
3. What Felicet is — and is not
Felicet is a technology platform. It connects businesses looking for staff with partners looking for work, and it provides the tools to run attendance, payroll, billing and payouts.
Felicet is not the employer of any partner. The working relationship, including wages, hours, statutory obligations and workplace conduct, is between the partner and the business that engages them. We are not a party to that arrangement and do not guarantee that any job, trial or wage will materialise.
4. Attendance, location and check-in
Check-in uses your device's location and a photograph to record that you attended a workplace. You agree not to falsify attendance — by mock location, by having someone else check in for you, or otherwise. Attendance records may be reviewed and corrected by the business, and corrections are logged.
5. Pay, wallet and payouts
- Wage credits are generated from attendance that the business has approved.
- The wallet balance shown in the app is a record of credits and debits on the platform ledger, not a bank deposit, and does not earn interest.
- Withdrawals are paid to the payout account you verify, subject to KYC checks and any limits shown in the app.
- Disputes about a wage amount are raised with the business first; we will provide the records we hold to help resolve them.
6. The Felicet Score and matching
We compute a reliability score from platform signals such as attendance, trial outcomes, corrections, ratings and complaints, and use it to order candidates for businesses. The score is a decision aid, not a decision — businesses choose whom they hire. If you believe your score reflects a record that is wrong, raise it through support and we will review the underlying data.
7. The AI assistant
The in-app assistant answers from your own records on the platform. It can be wrong or incomplete, and its answers are not legal, tax or financial advice. Where an answer matters — a wage amount, a leave balance, a statutory obligation — check the underlying record or contact support.
8. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- impersonate another person or business, or use false identity documents;
- falsify attendance, ratings, reviews, bills or KYC records;
- harass, threaten or discriminate against another user;
- use the platform to arrange work that is illegal, unsafe or in breach of labour law;
- scrape, reverse-engineer, or interfere with the apps or the API; or
- resell or sublicense access to the platform.
9. Content you submit
You keep ownership of the photographs, documents and text you upload. You grant Felicet a licence to store, process and display that content as needed to operate the service — for example, showing your check-in photo to the business approving your attendance.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms, that presents a fraud or safety risk, or where we are legally required to. You may close your account at any time; amounts owed to you and records we must retain are handled as described in the privacy policy.
11. Availability and liability
We work to keep the platform available, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, Felicet is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for loss of earnings arising from a job that did not proceed, or for the acts of any business or partner on the platform.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Courts at [city — to be filled in before publishing] have exclusive jurisdiction.
